Gravitational Waves, Gravity Waves, and Gravity Fields
Gravitational waves, gravity waves, and gravity fields are 3 different things.
- Gravity waves are waves generated in an actual fluid medium on Earth.
- Gravity fields are the finite area of spacetime that is affected by a mass’s gravity.
- Gravitational waves are created by the acceleration of a mass. These “ripple through space-time” because gravitational waves distort gravity fields.
